You probably spend more time in your kitchen than you do in almost any other room in your home, so doesn’t it make sense that we want this to be our favourite space? We want it full of lots of advanced technology, fabulous colours and inviting features, but sometimes it’s hard to know who to ask and where to go to make it all a reality. Enter Craftmade Kitchens. Their top priority is providing service that leaves their clients with a feeling of "wow, I couldn’t have asked for anything more". They do this so well in fact that they were named the Nova Scotia Home Builders' Association's (NSHBA) sub-trade of the year for 2006.
Whether you know exactly what you want and just need help finding it, or need it custom designed, Craftmade is prepared to help you make your dream kitchen a reality. They strive to provide their clients with unique designs, consistent top quality service and products, affordability, superior craftsmanship and prompt delivery.
So how do they do this? On of the most important aspects of building or renovating is experience. Craftmade Kitchens employs 11 highly trained staff members with over 150 years of combined experience, four of whom have over 20 years each. In fact, the Craftmade Kitchens team has over 150 years of combined experience in making your dream kitchen a reality. Their designs can be seen as far away as Bermuda or as close to home as your neighbour.
Tom Hughes, owner of Craftmade Kitchens, says "It's challenging to stay on top of what’s the "in" colour for this season or what’s new in technology." Craftmade's staff regularly attend trade shows and keep in constant contact with suppliers so they know about the newest custom countertop products, the hot new exotic woods or new accessory products for the inside the cabinets.
Craftmade also takes its commitment to the community seriously. From donating their design expertise and a new kitchen to the NSHBA's Great Habitat Build 2007, regular contributions to Canadian Diabetes foundation, Alzheimer’s Association, and Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation to sponsoring a batting cage at the Fall River Recreational Centre as well as the Bedford Blues Hockey team, they feel that giving back to their community is essential.

Tom says that the one thing he wants the world to know about Craftmade Kitchens is that they truly enjoy all aspects of their job. From the first meeting with their clients to the design process through to the end result of seeing that ‘vision’ installed, he loves it all. In the end, it's the clients that are the true benefactors of our enthusiasm.
