Tom Hughes, owner of Craftmade Kitchens, says "It's challenging to stay on top of what’s the "in" colour for this season or what’s new in technology." Craftmade's staff regularly attend trade shows and keep in constant contact with suppliers so they know about the newest custom countertop products, the hot new exotic woods or new accessory products for the inside the cabinets. Craftmade also takes its commitment to the community seriously. From donating their design expertise and a new kitchen to the NSHBA's Great Habitat Build 2007, regular contributions to Canadian Diabetes foundation, Alzheimer’s Association, and Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation to sponsoring a batting cage at the Fall River Recreational Centre as well as the Bedford Blues Hockey team, they feel that giving back to their community is essential.
Tom says that the one thing he wants the world to know about Craftmade Kitchens is that they truly enjoy all aspects of their job. From the first meeting with their clients to the design process through to the end result of seeing that ‘vision’ installed, he loves it all.
