As a Certified Residential and R-2000 Builder, Kel-Greg Homes is committed to continued training and education and have completed specific technical, safety and business management courses.  They have been recognized by the industry for their work by winning several NSHBA Peak Awards in 2007 and 2008.

Kel-Greg Homes has made staying on the cutting-edge of building technology one of their main priorities. To date they have registered 10 homes with the EnerGuide for New Houses program and 22 homes with the R-2000 program. Also, as members of the TechReady program and recipient of the 2008 TechReady Builder of the Year Award, they renew their commitment to staying ahead of the curve. Kel-Greg Homes participates in the Atlantic Home Warranty Program and are members of the Nova Scotia Construction Safety Association. Their commitment to the community is evident in their participation in helping to build Habitat for Humanity homes in 2006 and 2007 and their support for Nova Scotia Wheelchair Basketball as well as East Hants Minor Hockey.

Kel-Greg Homes is an active member of the NSHBA with President Steve Bartlett sitting on the Board of Directors for the Central Nova Local of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association. Steve and his employees participate on numerous NSHBA committees including Marketing, R-2000, Training & Education, Women’s, Technical Research and Economic Research.
