The seminar includes presentations on energy efficiency renovation tips to help you reduce your energy consumption and rebates that are available for renovations; how to effectively hire a professional contractor and the pitfalls that are associated with working with an underground contractor; planning ahead and the benefits of working with an interior designer; heating choices and communications wiring; and a panel of industry professionals who will answer your renovation questions.

The dates for the Before you Renovate seminars include:

· October 8 – Days Inn (formerly Wandlyn Inn), Bridgewater

· October 14 – Wandlyn Inn, Kentville

· October 19 – Delta Hotel, Sydney

· October 21 – Holiday Inn Harbourview, Dartmouth

· October 27 – Museum of Industry, Stellarton

Seminars will be held from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm and each participant will receive an information package that will provide them with further insight to help them with their upcoming project – checklists, brochures and information sheets.

The seminars are complimentary to consumers, but pre-registration is required.
