Bathroom Renovation
#3
The shades of
yellows and browns that were ever so popular in the mid 70s have
worn out their welcome. It appears that bathrooms are receiving
new looks to change from this dated colour to a more neutral look
that will last for many years to come (see
photo 1).
In this renovation
project, Bath Fitter, the renovation
company who completed the job, not only changed fixtures, they changed
the entire ambiance of the room to create a more appealing room
for the family.
The tub was
fitted with an acrylic liner and walls, including a wall-hung soap
dish and shelf unit and a pressure balanced tub and shower single
lever faucet. The existing wall and floor tile were replaced with
more modern selections and the pedestal style sink was replaced
to match the new look of the tub, complete with a single lever lavatory
faucet (see photo 2).
Not only is
an acrylic tub, such as the new style included in this project,
easier to clean, it is also significantly less slippery when it
is wet in comparison to other tub finishes. When you are preparing
for a bathroom renovation, you want to make sure that the choices
you make will suit your needs for years to come.
