In order to enhance the look of this Halifax home that was beginning to show some signs of aging (see photo 1), the contractor, PBM created a new look, while maintaining the original design of the home. Included in this renovation project were new windows installed throughout the home, a new air barrier was installed and cedar shingles were used to create a stunning new look for this home (see photo 2) that the homeowner will be able to enjoy for many years. These changes to the home's exterior, although not drastic in nature, give the house a fresh look without the hassle of the owners having to relocate to a newer home in a different area, as this Halifax location is ideal for this family's lifestyle needs. When you are thinking about renovating your home, you want to concentrate on the areas that will not only be aesthetically appealing, but will be practical to your lifestyle. In this instance, the contractor was able to make the home look more attractive, but they also added year's to the home's lifespan, fulfilling two needs with one job. |
