The entire look of a home can be altered by making changes to the front entrance area of your home, which is what this Dartmouth family had in mind when they decided to make changes to their front steps and existing verandah (see photo 1). What were once traditional steps that you see on many two-storey homes, with a covered verandah, PBM transformed into an elegant and inviting area that adds aesthetic appeal to this home. The renovation was comprised of the replacement and improvement of the existing front step and verandah (see photo 2). In completing this project, a top rail system was included for additional appeal. The entire laminate rail system was built on-site, a widened stairway was built and mouldings were added to give the home a more finished look. The intricate work that this company did, not only added character to the home, but to the entire exterior of the property (see photos 3 & 4). To complete the job, a concrete landing was included at the base of the stairway to further enhance the project, which draws a visitor's eyes to the beautiful verandah. |
